Elsie is a funny, free-spirited mother of four who’s lived in Thailand for more than 30 years.
She’s made her mark on the art scene in Thailand with her vibrant paintings and reputation as an inspiring art teacher.

The studio is a large, airy space filled with natural light from the garden. It’s fully-stocked with art equipment to cover most mediums. Open 24 hours/day for our guests.

Every room is uniquely furnished with art, rugs and artifacts that Elsie has collected over the years. Guests with children can request adjacent rooms.
Breakfast
Our breakfasts are legendary! Served daily in the community kitchen with fresh coffee, cold-pressed juice or yogi tea. Come and try it for yourself!
Facilities
All the facilities in the grounds are at your disposal. The pool is available to our guests 24 hours/day and can be enjoyed alongside deck chairs and barbecue facilities.
Location
Rayong is famous for its beaches, mountains, botanic gardens and other natural attractions. The fruit and seafood markets are some of the best in the country.

Yes, breakfast is included for free and served at 8:00 AM every morning in the community kitchen.

Yes, we can arrange bicycle, motorcycle or car rentals for our guests. Airport transfers also.

The beach is less than 800 meters from the Art Retreat (roughly 10 minutes on foot).

Class is usually from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, but we can also arrange an afternoon class if preferred.

Yes, art is for everyone! Elsie has taught students from age 3 to 83 years old.

Elsie Evans Art Retreat is only 2.5 hours from Bangkok and 1 hour from Pattaya.
